Monroe Bridge Construction and Development
www.potomacyardalexandria.com
In January of 2003, the Alexandria City Council approved the straightening of the Monroe Avenue Bridge as an element of the Potomac Yard development plan. The straightened
bridge will provide four lanes of traffic and two dedicated turning lanes. In addition, a pedestrian/bicycle sidewalk will be located on the east side of the bridge and a
pedestrian sidewalk will be located on the west side of the bridge.
National Harbor Construction
Development Project Across the Potomac
www.nationalharbor.com
This premier destination is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. An exciting, sprawling community that includes fine restaurants, unparalleled shopping, stunning office
space and lavish residences. There’s also Gaylord National, the largest hotel in the Washington, D.C. area and the largest non-gaming combined hotel and convention
center on the entire east coast. National Harbor brings together recreation, work, living and entertainment in a way that has never been done before.
The Wilson Bridge Project

The project remains on track as it is on-schedule and on-budget. The first bridge is completed and is carrying six lanes of traffic (three in each direction).
The second bridge will open in mid 2008, at which time each bridge will carry five lanes of traffic. The year 2008 also will see the completion of Interstate
295, Maryland 210 and a majority of the US Route 1 Interchanges. Finally, despite the addition this year of major improvements to the Telegraph Road Interchange,
this last element of the project remains slated for 2011 completion.
Prescott Condo Development
New Condo Development at Cameron, Henry & N. Fayette Streets
www.prescottcondominiums.com
Soon the Crossroads of Cameron, Henry and North Fayette streets will celebrate and recreate an architechural heritage, like nowhere else. Prescott’s richly textured
exterior will bridge a century of Old Town residential design - from Queen Ann stlye row houses to gracious early 1900 homes, from a classical revival apartment building to
elegant three and four-bay townhouses, these will be buildings of fascinating dimension and orginality. Yet with all its elegance and fine craftmanship, Presscott’s
greatest advantage might very well be its one-of-a-kind address, in the heart of a town like nowhere else.
